Dr. Todd Bostwick founded Upper Peninsula Imaging (UPI) in 2012 during a pivotal time for healthcare in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. With the unexpected closure of the region’s primary radiology group, access to local imaging services was at risk for many communities. Recognizing the importance of maintaining care close to home, Dr. Bostwick stepped forward to ensure continuity of radiology services across the region.
What began as a solo practice quickly grew under his leadership. Dr. Bostwick expanded UPI’s reach to serve communities including Marquette, Ishpeming, Munising, Newberry, Baraga, and Manistique—helping preserve access to timely, high-quality imaging in a largely rural and geographically dispersed area.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bostwick was known for his commitment to patient care, strong relationships with referring providers, and dedication to the communities he served. His efforts helped establish a stable, locally focused radiology practice built on reliability, accessibility, and clinical excellence.
Now retired, Dr. Bostwick’s impact continues through the organization he founded. Upper Peninsula Imaging remains guided by the principles he established, continuing to serve patients and providers across the Upper Peninsula with the same commitment to quality and community-based care.
